These answers summarise our current policies. Your confirmation and the complete legal documents control if a service-specific term or detail differs.
When is my booking confirmed?
An enquiry, quotation, proposed itinerary, reservation hold or payment link is not a confirmed booking. Your booking becomes binding only after Wonder Albania receives the required deposit or full payment, accepts the booking and sends you written confirmation. Please check the confirmation promptly and report any error within 48 hours.
How much is the deposit, and when is the balance due?
Unless your quotation or confirmation says otherwise, the deposit is 30% of the total booking price and the remaining balance is due 30 days before departure. Bookings made within 30 days of departure require full payment when booking. Some services may have a larger or non-refundable deposit, which will be disclosed before confirmation.
What does my tour price include?
Your confirmed price includes only the items expressly listed as “Included” in your itinerary or confirmation. Unless expressly included, it does not cover flights, visas, passports, insurance, vaccinations, optional activities, meals, drinks, gratuities, personal expenses, excess baggage, locally payable taxes or transport to and from the stated start and end points.
What are the standard cancellation charges?
The Lead Traveller must cancel in writing by emailing hello@wonderalbania.com. Unless your confirmation contains different service-specific terms, the standard charges are:
- Multi-day tours, packages and tailor-made journeys: the deposit plus non-refundable supplier costs at 31 days or more; 50% at 15–30 days; 75% at 8–14 days; and 100% at 7 days or fewer before departure.
- Day tours, activities and transfers: non-refundable supplier costs at more than 72 hours; 50% at 24–72 hours; and 100% at less than 24 hours before the start time.
See the complete Cancellation and Refund Policy, because special conditions disclosed before booking may apply.
Can I change my booking?
The Lead Traveller should request changes in writing. Wonder Albania will try to help but cannot guarantee a change. You may need to pay a price increase, non-refundable supplier costs, supplier change fees and any administration fee agreed before the change is made. Some date, destination or name changes may need to be treated as a cancellation and a new booking.
What happens if Wonder Albania changes or cancels my trip?
Minor itinerary changes may be made when reasonably necessary. If a significant change or cancellation affects a qualifying package, Wonder Albania will provide the options and remedies required by applicable law. These may include accepting the change, accepting a suitable alternative with a price adjustment, or cancelling and receiving a refund of legally refundable amounts.
How are refunds paid?
When a refund is due, it is normally returned to the original payment method in the original payment currency. Wonder Albania will process it without undue delay and within any legally required deadline, although banks and payment providers may need additional processing time. Independent bank fees and exchange-rate differences are not refundable.
Do I need travel insurance?
Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended and may be mandatory for a specific trip. It should be valid for the full itinerary and, where relevant, cover emergency medical treatment, evacuation and repatriation, cancellation and interruption, personal liability, baggage, delays and planned adventure activities.
Who is responsible for passports, visas and entry requirements?
Each Traveller is responsible for having valid passports, visas, residence permits, parental authorisations, driving documents, health documents and all other entry or transit documents. Requirements can change, so verify them with the relevant embassy, consulate or official authority well before travel.
What should I tell you about health, accessibility or dietary needs?
Tell Wonder Albania before booking about mobility or accessibility needs, allergies, dietary requirements, medical conditions, pregnancy, medication or anything else that could affect safe participation. A special request is guaranteed only when confirmed in writing. Sensitive information is limited to what is reasonably necessary and shared only with people who need it to arrange or safely provide the service.
Can someone under 18 travel?
The Lead Traveller must be at least 18 and legally able to enter into a contract. A Traveller under 18 must have the authorisation, supervision and documentation required by a parent, legal guardian and applicable law. Wonder Albania may request evidence of age, authority or consent.
What if I am late or miss part of a service?
A no-show, refusal of entry, late arrival that causes a missed service or voluntary departure after a service begins is normally treated as a cancellation. No refund is due for unused services unless the issue results from Wonder Albania’s breach or applicable law provides otherwise. Contact the team immediately if delayed so they can try to assist.
How does Wonder Albania use my personal information?
Wonder Albania uses personal information to answer enquiries, prepare and manage bookings, coordinate suppliers, process payments and refunds, provide support, meet legal obligations, prevent fraud and improve services. Information is shared only where reasonably necessary with relevant suppliers, service providers, advisers or authorities. Wonder Albania does not sell personal information. See the Privacy and Cookie Policy for full details.
What cookies does the website use?
The site uses a limited set of technologies for essential functions, preferences and aggregated analytics. The current register covers the saved locale, saved location preferences and Vercel Web Analytics. Wonder Albania does not currently intend to use behavioural advertising cookies. You can manage optional cookies through available site controls and your browser settings.
What privacy rights do I have?
Depending on applicable law, you may be able to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your information; object to certain processing or direct marketing; withdraw consent; and complain to a competent data-protection authority. Email hello@wonderalbania.com to make a request. Identity verification may be required to protect your information.
What should I do if there is a problem during my trip?
Tell the relevant supplier, guide and Wonder Albania as soon as reasonably possible so the issue can be investigated and, where possible, corrected. If it remains unresolved, email hello@wonderalbania.com with your booking reference, a clear description and supporting material. The Booking Terms ask that complaints be sent within 28 days after the service ends, without shortening any mandatory legal limitation period.
Where can I read the full policies?
Read the complete Booking Terms and Conditions, Cancellation and Refund Policy, and Privacy and Cookie Policy. Your confirmation, invoice, itinerary and any written special conditions supplied before booking also form part of your Booking Agreement and may contain service-specific terms.
