Three days through the Albanian Alps: overnight in Theth, a challenging guided crossing to Valbona, then the Lake Koman ferry back toward Tirana with all meals included.
A three-day guided alpine journey from Tirana to Theth, across the Theth-Valbona trail, then home via the Lake Koman ferry with all meals included.
This trip is for active travellers who want Albania's best-known mountain crossing done properly, not as a day dash. Day one travels from Tirana via Shkoder to Theth for village time, an included dinner and a night in a mountain guesthouse.
Day two is the hard day: roughly 17 km and six to eight hours over steep, rocky and uneven ground, crossing the pass with a packed lunch and an English-speaking guide. You descend into Valbona for dinner and overnight. Day three keeps a calmer morning in the valley before the included Lake Koman passenger ferry through steep water and mountains, then the road transfer back to Tirana.
Expect challenging effort, not a sightseeing coach tour. Hiking boots with reliable grip are required; poles are strongly recommended. Book private or join a shared departure when published. All meals listed are included. International flights are not included.
